Happy Austrailia Day!!!!!

Hey everybody!

On Mon.Jan.26 it was Australia Day and we had a awesome time!The first thing we went to was a celebration in Mt.Eliza.We wore Canadian t-shirts, Australian tattoos and brought Australia flags.For our breakfast they were giving out bread with sausages.It was YUMMY!!!!. After that there was a waiter race.The objective of the game was to bring a bottle of wine on a tray to the table at the other end pour the wine in the glasses. Then bring the glasses AND the wine back to the start but try not to spill the glasses or the wine.

Then we went to Mornington and walked around the park to a BIG jumpycastle.It was fun to! There was a art activity going on and I painted a butterfly. BOY did it look beautiful. After that we watched my brother "Keegan the great"play tug of war. He almost won but there were too many people on the other side. Next we had miniature dutch pancakes. They were delicious!! We also went to a pirate ship park like the one in Belleville.My dad was it and I barely got touched! We had a awesome day!...

Except one thing. When we were getting ready to go to someones house, we saw a giant spider on our cooler bag.Me and Keegan were so amazed but our mom freaked out!AAAAAAAAAAA! GET THAT SPIDER OUT OF HERE!!!So we did.But dad had to do the dirty work.Beside's that,it was a great day!

I'm Back!!!!!!!!!!

HEY EVERYBODY!!!

I'm back from my adventure in Tasmania and I want to tell you all about it!!! When we first got there,we went to a family's house and they have three children Isaac,Peter and Samuel. They were a really nice family and we had a great time. While we were with them, we went to walk above the trees at the Tahune Airwalk. I also got to hang glide (sort of).

After that we went to Port Arthur and stayed in a hotel that was by a little village and it was COOL!!! We did a walking tour around the..............

DA DA DAAA PRISON!!!!!

There were some bush fires so a lot of the historical artifacts had been destroyed but we still had a good time.

Then we drove to the northern part of Tasmania to Cradle Mountain. It was a BIG hike. We were lucky because we saw lots of salamanders and when we had lunch, there was a crazy magpie waiting for our leftovers from lunch. When I fed him my apple, he came back with crumbs of apple on his face. We laughed our heads off. (Ha, Ha) We saw some animals in their habitats - a wombat and a wallaby (that people were feeding at a picnic area).

There was a beach area called "Bay of Fires". I got soaking wet because the waves were sooooo big. The next day we went to "Wineglass Bay" and there was a big wave that made me do a backwards flip. It was a long hike in but it was definitely worth it.

We're going to Tasmania!

Dear everybody,

On Wed.Jan.7,2009 we're going to Tasmania for a week!YIPPEE! I can't wait because we're going to be staying in a cabin that's close to a BEAUTFUL beach. And guess what is awesome?We don't have to go to school untill Feb.2. Also we live SO close to the school,that we can walk to it. It's only a 10 minute walk. Boy are we lucky! I miss everybody a lot and I hope you had a great first day at school!

Happy Birthday to Me!

I'm a surfer girl!The wave was TOTALlY huge! I just wanted to tell all of you, about what I did today, and I didn't just ride a spectacular wave, I went to a park! There were koalas, kookaberas, emus, snakes, lizards, kangaroos that you can feed and pet and last but not least wallabys and tasmanian devils. We were lucky to see a koala when he woke up. I wish some of you could come to Australia some day.
